This one is photoshopped, of course. Steven was watching one of the Peter F. Yacht Club poets from the top stair of the Carleton Tavern (Dec. 17, 2005) when I shot this candid photo. He struck a 'saintly' pose (I thought) and all I did was apply the dodge tool a wee bit about his noggin. The photo also underwent a heavy noise reduction process and also a 'craquelure' layer to make the whole thing painterly and postmodern iconic. Steve, along with his wife Catherine (and the Dusty Owl team) organized a food drive December 18, 2005 to benefit the Ottawa Food Bank... a saintly gesture in my books.
