      I like this one the best of the three posted. The action is well framed and isolated, the composition is good.
      I know nothing about sport photography, but I would imagine this was quite hard to capture in such sharp detail, well done.

      Thanks, I've got 511 shots to go through from last night, small crowd, only £8.00 to get in, stand anywhere you like for shots, no flash allowed. Just starting on the sports stuff, I have never been to speed skating before, and know little about it, as this event was in Sheffield, thought I should go and give it a try, this was much harder than I expected, suspect I will use manual focus next time, the light was good though. I was chatting to the Italian chap earlier, did not know who he was, turns out he is quite good! Silver in olympics. Shame not much support, but then again do not think it was that well advertised in Sheffield.

      Thanks, your mob were pretty good! I'll add more to the Set but a lot of sorting out to decide which ones to include. I enjoyed it, not far removed from cycling, shame there was not much of a crowd.

      Thank you, I quite liked it, still not gone through lots of others that I took. Wish I had shot them in raw, did not understand what I could have done with the white balance etc if i had. I'll get round to sorting and editing over the winter, maybe...
