I did this for someone's birthday. Shh! He doesn't know about it yet. I'm going to redo the colors with watercolor. If I have time, I may scan that, too.
Part two tomorrow.

Would I be out of line to observe that the
young Mr. Ralston has not just a little bit
of the Shaggy Rogers going on?
Did you consider HH to be a doppleganger?
That's a weird feeling.

Not a doppleganger, but we both had the same
"Amish" beard, short
"Caesar" hair, straight nose, and
big eyelids, which for consistency's sake I
didn't draw on myself here.
Shaggy has a last name? I had no idea.

i have never written "LOL" but this
actually had me laughing out loud. it's
wonderful. i can't wait to see henry's
response.
p.s., it's so cool that you remember his
eyelids. they are some of the few features
that prevent us from looking like twins.

That reminds me of this horribly embarrassing
conversation I had with my Freshman-year
roommate where he showed me a picture of his
little sister and I, I guess trying to be as
edgy as I could, bet him $10 that she'd be
smokin' hot in ten years. I'm cringing
thinking about it.

Well, we have really similar eyelids, but
like I said, for simplicity's sake, I don't
draw them on myself these days.
COBRA!, that's pretty embarassing. Did you
win the bet?

She aged pretty well, I guess, but I don't
really think I have it in me to try to
collect.

i like his painting!
whats that pink building behind cooper
union?

It was the building of a music publisher, and
I don't know if it's still there or not. I
also don't remember if it was pink freshman
year or not. It eventually (?) had a clock on
it inside a huge musical note.
On the other hand, it's possible it was
never pink at all, and my memory is crazy.

love the story and your comic! it warms my
heart in a funny way. if someone said that to
henry about me, i know exactly what he'd say.

its still there, although now theres this big
fancy apartment building called "the
Sculpture for Living" (ridic i know) in
front of it. I'd be sad if they took the
music note building away

I guess that apartment building must be where
there used to be a parking lot.
Sometimes I can hardly believe I haven't
lived in New York for almost a decade.
