350 Points Towards Infinity By Tatiana Trouve

29ª Bienal de Arte de São Paulo

350 points towards infinity, is composed of hundreds of metallic pendulums hanging from the ceiling to about 3 inches from the floor. They all shoot out at different angles, as if frozen in time and space, creating an eerie sensation of arrested transition. This elegant installation encompasses most of Trouve’s preoccupations: magic and illusion, dreams and memory, architectural intervention, psychological investigation, and the interplay of inner and outer spaces.
