I had been to Lake Como almost 2 years ago for a destination wedding I was flown out for. Loved it. So on our honeymoon I wanted to make sure we spent a night there as well. Found a different hotel this time, and upon arriving, spent a little extra for a view of the lake from the third floor. They also gave us unlimited access to the tower, which gave us this view the next morning.
Lake Como doesn’t have much to offer in terms of things to do, or things to see unless your goal is to relax. Which we did for a couple hours. After an expensive couple of days in Switzerland, we opted for some take-away pizza and a bottle of champagne and just sat lakeside and watched the sunset together. Now that was romantic.
