It is SO hard for me to post an image like this. I have completely severed off the heads of these two, young lovers. Details. The landscape photographer in me says, “don’t cut off half the building, don’t cut off the tip of the mountain, don’t cut off any subject in the photo; include it all. And keep that horizon straight!” The same rules don’t apply for modern portraits. Details. And it’s usually the women that like the detail shots. I still don’t get it. The funny thing about this photo is that they weren’t kissing or anything. I think they were gossiping about something completely random as I posed them for this shot. And then She said, “hey, why are you shooting down there, we’re up here…” and I showed her the shot and of course OH I LOVE IT!!
