For six word story

The Nikon got the nod for today's hike, but the Ricoh was stuffed in the pack just in case. This is one of my favorite parts of the park - a shallow plain that gets flooded when the reservoir rises but is otherwise damp or dry. A footpath was built years ago and when it was first constructed it was perfect and straight. In the intervening years the changing flood tides have pushed and pulled the sections to and fro.
