"War Eagle"

Ford B-24H-15-FO Liberator

s/n 42-94775

4th BS, 34th BG, 8th AF (also flew with the 7th and 391st Squadrons)

This plane flew its last mission (at least with the 34th BG) on the August 18,1944 mission to bomb the German airfield North of Paris. It recieved 'heavy damage' on the mission and I haven't been able to find out what happened to it after that.
