Ford-built B-24H-15-FO Liberator (s/n 42-94766) from the 391st Bomb Squadron, 34th Bomb Group. I've seen conflicting info on this aircraft. One source says it was named "Crow's Nest" and another called it "Iron Pants". It is possible that it carried one name while with the 34th ("Crow's Nest"), and another while with another group after the 34th transitioned to flying the B-17.
The man in the photo is T/Sgt. Shephard G. Litsey, who was a photographer with the 391st Squadron. He was KIA on November 5,1944.
