      Well caught! It is so hard to correctly expose for firework displays, this is a great example of how to get it right.

      Cheers Gerald, it was my first time photographing fireworks. I had a quick read of this article before I went down to the fireworks show: digital-photography-school.com/blog/how-to-ph otograph-fir.... I was happy with the results.

      I varied the exposure to 3 or 4 seconds, aperture between 10 and 14 and ISO 100. And most importantly I had my tripod which was essential.

      Thanks for the advice John - Guy Fawkes/Bonfire Night is coming up soon so I'll see if I can get some practice in myself!
