I found my old wizard hat! First thing we did was run over to downtown disney where this giant hat welcomes hotel visitors to the dtd zone. i had my friend jump across the street a couple times while i flashed 2 580exII's at him just at my right while everyone was staring at us be absolutely crazy. I also love this picture because it really utilizes the fisheye and how the world completely changes when you put this lens on. You really have to take into account everything around you and you begin to make everything important, from the people to the left, to the perspective of the street to the right.

I kept telling this couple that we just had to get this shot. I remember telling them exactly how it was going to be too. I shot this with a 70-200 IS and i remember having my friend in the dumbo right behind me so that Lizzie and Albert (the couple) could be 2 dumbos behind me and i could get a far enough shot with my zoom. I had them straddle the middle level while i flew to the top and i had my friend in the middle all the way at the bottom. It just so happened that the kids behind Lizzie and Albert had also climbed down which helped them to not get in the top right of the shot (which would have actually caused a distraction) but instead were a good accent on the bottom right. I just love how everything was composed and the timing was luckily perfect. If this shot was on the other side, it would have been a wall and trees in the background. Their kiss, the background, the dumbo behind them, and all of the extra planning made this just perfect in my eyes. It really surprises me now that I think about how much work was put into this. Lol

Yes they're waiting, waiting for me to come back from the bathroom break... hahaha but you know what else? i waited a good minute for this picture, they didn't even know i was taking it, but i had to wait for the right amount of people and make sure someones head was popping up behind or above them. It really looks awkward if some tall man's head is popping up over the subject right?

So I found out having a girl ask one of the park balloon sellers really nicely works! Ok I'm sure they let EVERYONE do this actually, but we weren't sure at first. So Lizzie goes up to the guy and asks him if she can hold one balloon, the guy says you can hold all of them! Catch is he can't let go! So i find a way to get down and cut his hand out in the crop and still get all the balloons. This was the fastest shot I took and I love how it turned out :)
