Rule of thirds

    Newer Older

Is there a prize for most excruciatingly obvious example of the rule of thirds? The horizontal slats are on RoT lines. And the flower is at an intersection.

      Hi John,

First of all, these are some great pictures you put on Flickr!

My name is Mike and I’m writing currently a blog about Lifestyle Design. For each new post I try to find a suitable photo which supports my idea.

For my post: Tips and Tricks for more beautiful pictures, I found the photo ‘Rule of thirds’, taken by you.

I’ve seen that your photo stands under the Creative Commons License, that’s way I used it for the above mentioned blog post. I’ve given you full credit for the picture by mentioning your name and linking to your Flickr page at the end of post. I hope that’s alright with you? (When not hearing from you I assume you’re okay with it….. ;-D)

Thank for that great picture! Wish you all the best. Take good care.

      Mike, Merry Christmas

I've recently started up a group for playing around with this idea. It would be great if you'd like to post this picture there!

powerful.. the subject is highly contrastive against the plain background, which would make it be in focus.
