Shot using a tripod and a zoom lens (I don't own a macro yet). I used sandpaper on the knob to give it texture and clean off some ugly mottled defects. Natural light with a white piece of paper to reflect light back into the shadow cast by the knob. Used GIMP (clone tool) to move the word MAX and color the last dot red. Entirely too much work for such a silly photo. :-) Comments
