A shot from last year. This is Kálfsá river, located in Ólafsfjörður, in the north part of Iceland. The sun was shining hard, so exposing the frame correctly was tricky... And yeah, when done shooting this frame, I dropped my Lee filter several meters down a cliff, that sucked.

Nikon D300 + Tokina 11-16/2.8 with a 3 stop ND filter, Polarizer and a Lee 0.9 ND Grad.
Exposed for one third of a second, at F/18 & ISO 100.

Much better if viewed Large! :-)

I drove to Þingvellir National park last night to look at Öxarárfoss waterfall. As you can see the whole thing is a frozen solid block...

Exposed for 8 minutes, at F/5 & ISO 400.
Nikon D300 + Tokina 11-16/2.8.

Much better if viewed Large!

I drove to lake Kleifarvatn tonight. The skies were clear and the moon was shining so I was able to get a pretty even exposure. The moon can make all the difference in the world when photographing at night, especially when there is snow on the ground...

Exposed for 25 seconds at F/2.8 & ISO 400.
Nikon D300 + Tokina 11-16/2.8.
