Mine too. But I've discovered a new one...coffee with a shot. Tastes like an americano, but richer flavor and more caffeine!

Yeah, I don't need the extra caffeine. In fact, the Americano is the only Caffeine I allow myself. But man, I just love them. I have been drinking black coffee occasionally for years now, but the unique flavor of the Americano is one of my favorite treats. Caribou's is good, but Starbucks Americano tastes better to me.

They are good, but I just can't handle them. I get the caffeine-shakes really bad. And that's never comfortable.

Actually, Americano's have, ounce for ounce, less caffeine than coffee, particularly starbucks or caribou coffee. I've been told this more than once and I've experienced it. Straight coffee gives me more of a jolt than an Americano. So now I can have both!

And I can't tell the difference. Probably cause of the cream and sugar I put in it. (grin)

Thanks for the heads up Jim! I didn't know that. I just looked it up and a Tall coffee of the week at Starbucks has 260mg caffeine. A tall Americano has 150. Nice! I don;'t add a thing to it, so it's a great treat for me: 10 calories and lower caffeine than I imagined.
