A Québecois delicacy: French fries, gravy, and cheese curds. Just the junk food one craves after a hard morning of skiing. It can be found nearly everywhere in Whistler, and so I had it nearly every day. Yum yum yum. (It's probably a good thing that I can't find it here in New York.)
The next time you come to Montreal, go to the
restaurant Le Pied de Cochon and try the
Poutine au foie gras. They say it's very good

A poutine that come with truffles...
chocolate truffles or mushrooms? Hum... Yeah,
I wouldn't be surprised there's one that
comes with truffles (the mushrooms). The Le

This makes me hungry just looking at it. Too
bad I have to limit myself to it once every
six months, after a serious regimine of
working out before and after. Take only under
a doctor's supervision!

wow, 1st time I've seen this food. (I saw
this pic in the "Graduation" topic
in the Views 900 group) When I saw the
small-sized pic, I thought the gravy was
syrup.

I grew up in central Illinois where the
horseshoe sandwich reigns supreme. Texas
toast, a meat of your choice (I always
favored bacon), a piled of fries on top and
cover the whole thing in cheese sauce.
