This was taken in an abandoned ketchup factory during the flickr meetup in Indiana.
The factory we visited was probably my favourite location of the whole trip, it became a beehive of activity during the two days we shot there. It was so cool to walk through the the rooms and see a new photoshoot happening around every corner. Even in this photo, there were three shoots happening just behind my camera and at times there were five people just watching me set up this little scene. It took me about 20 minutes to move each little section of bricks from a crumbling section on the third floor to this big room with these cool windows.
I feel as though I managed to capture little bits of happiness from each of the people I met and I'm now carrying them with me everywhere I go.
You can see the rest of our photos from the meetup here: Midwest Flickr Gathering
And I wrote a blog post about it here: Blog
Sergio Heads, Kiara Rose, LaDy In Da ReD ( লালবানু), Samuel Gbasai, and 326 other people added this photo to their favorites.

I'm going to echo just about everyone else and say it was really cool to watch your creative process at work! The planning and thought that goes into a composition like this was really inspiring and the result (as always) is so creative and awesome! Love it, Joel!

This is just great!! A few weeks ago I had an idea for a picture that is somehow similar to this (I haven't taken it yet, but I will), it's curious how different minds can think about the same concepts :). So, I really like this! Very well done ;)
