F is for Finding Fiction in the Forest

Last night I was thinking of different ideas for today's photo and this one kind of snuck into my head, I decided to draw it out in my sketchbook/journal just to see if I could get it to match once I actually got to take the photos. I must say that it's pretty close to exactly how I pictured it to turn out!(aside from it facing the other way and more books in the photo). I love when that happens, it makes me feel like I'm actually thinking about the way that my images turn out rather than just taking them and seeing what happens :)

What an incredible artist you are. The sketch is amazing and the photograph is riveting. Books are such a great subject...but you have done something so special with them here.

Lovely photo! And super random. I followed this photo in from Nerd Quirks so I could add it to my Pinterest. . . and you're the boywonder from Craftster that I've swapped with a couple times, am I right? (I'm psyche over there).

If only! Patrick Kavanagh, the Irish poet, used to keep books stashed in trees around his farm, and often abandoned his ploughing or fencing, and would be found sitting in the hedge, reading.
