this totally freaks me out -- my father had a workshop like this in the basement -- i wasn't allowed near it -- he would go down there after dinner -- play old c&w songs, drink beer -- and I wouldn't see him until the next day... very freaky... but a great pic!

what happened to the oh so beautiful exif data on all your photos? you should turn it back on so we can see how you take these.

Ah, the exif data is stripped out by my Save for Web process in Photoshop. I could stop doing that, but it's so ingrained. And I actually have a Save for Web that uses ImageReady and preserves exif, but I got lazy with this one.

Anyway, this is the D200 and the 17-55mm f/2.8 lens...

:) hi joe.
I never knew about this. I read it before here cause someone made a comment on a previous picture. but i look around and downloaded a free application and saw what it does. I personally think its a bit of too much info. But hey, i am not even a photographer soo.
its cool that you can embed info for gps purposes, but that is a whole new chapter.

Tim, it was great to see you last night. Yeah, I've tried and tried, but it's just not possible to shrink these images down for Web sizes. They were meant to be big!

my dad was an electrician -- he had his own tv repair shop -- and had a workroom just. like. this. --- oh sweet memories of the smell of solder -- this is fabulous. ;)

Yeah, great to see you! Hopefully, I will be showing soon too...I'll keep you posted.

You're right, the web does not do these shots justice.

This is my favorite from the series you're currently showing at Bekman. I'm a bit of an old-school electronics junkie myself.

And yes, yes, yes, you *have* to see them life-size on the wall at the gallery to truly appreciate them. Get there while you still can, people!
