DC Shorts Mentors 2014
I spoke on a panel on screenwriting at DC Shorts Mentors, a four-week class on how to write, shoot, edit and market a film.

Here's my screenwriting advice: joeflood.com/2014/03/07/resources-screenwriters/

In short, to write a screenplay, you actually have to sit down and write a screenplay.

After the screenplay panel I spoke on, local actors did a live reading of screenplay submitted by writers in the class. It was a lot of fun and I thought hugely instructive - hearing your words read aloud is always a different experience than seeing them on the page.
