The Portsmouth Vernacular Map is an award-winning mapping project. It looks at the geography of the city of Portsmouth in relation to the dialect and language that is used and has evolved in and around the city. The city's street names are replaced with local slang.

The reverse of the map comes with an introduction to the map & origins of the name 'Pompey', as well as the alphabetical index of the mapped dialect's translations.

The map is litho-printed in a navy pantone on a cool grey paper (120gsm weight), chosen to enhance the map's vintage reference. The paper is size A1 (85 x 60 cm).
