Hanging Bridge at Sevilla, Bohol
Our guide brought us to this hanging bamboo footbridge in Sevilla, Bohol. Though there are quite a few like it around Bohol, this one is a favorite tourist destination. It's main purpose is really for the locals but it has become a fun attraction for tourists. Why? Well, the bridge sways and even bounces up and down while you cross it. The real challenge is when you find yourself meeting someone going the opposite direction. Can you let go of one hand? LOL It is not for the faint of heart...and the clumsy. Tourists pay P10.00 to cross it.
I didn't allow my two babies and their nannies to cross, obviously, but my husband and I did. You can hear tourists screaming as the bridge starts to sway. You can also hear me giggling the whole time! I was right smack in the middle of the bridge when I decided to take a brave shot of the river. Then a crazy Korean guy jumped up and down from the end of the bridge to amuse his girlfriend. I swear, if I had a coconut of kalamay with me at that moment I would've flung it to him! So much for the spoiled shot and poise!
