I was tucked into a shady spot under a nearby tree when I noticed
three young Round-tailed Ground Squirrels sitting near the entrance to
their den. Right in front of my lens, one by one, they came into view
- four, five, six and finally seven. They looked like a family lining
up for a group photo. It was an amazing experience.

Great shot - one of my favorite native animals - lots of fun to watch, especially when they have young ones playing about.
