Easter eggs

    Newer Older

I've been doing Easter talks (minus the religious aspect, as it's a bit heavy to explain to second graders who have maybe heard of this Jesus fellow but otherwise remain clueless) with my students lately, and one grade's teachers asked me about Easter eggs, and I had a dye kit waiting to be used, so on Monday the second grade got a show & tell about dying eggs. The random scribbly marks are 2nd graders' attempts at writing their names in crayon on the eggs, a somewhat questionable success.
