Barack Obama rally....Austin, TX...February 22, 2008

On June 3, 2008, Sen. Barack Obama has become the first African-American to earn a major political party's nomination for the office of President of the United States.

He has now earned enough delegates for the nomination, which will take place in August at the Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colorado.

Congratulations to Sen. Obama on this historic achievement tonight.

I saw him in NC with 50,000 other people and he was superb. I'd heard his stump speech on TV but the energy he releases at these "live" events are powerful!!!! Tonight is good night... he MUST win in 08!!!!
