July 4th Fireworks over Cinderella's castle at Disney World

Final crop and edit of the fireworks picture. I'm still not 100% satisfied with it, but I'm beginning to think I never will be.

This photo was my first to reach 1000 views! Thanks to everyone!
Now surpassed 2000 views! I'm honored.
Over 3,300 views now. This is my most viewed photo by about 2,500. 8/14/2008

Great shot. I worked at Disney World in the early 90's and witnessed this scene several times. I worked in Epcot Center at the Living Seas Pavilion, but I have actually been in the tunnels underneath the Magic Kingdom and have in fact, taken the elevator up to the Castle. Yeah, it was pretty cool. :-)

I don't remember exactly, but I'm pretty sure I shot this at f/3.5 with my 18-55mm 3.5-5.6 kit lens for my D80. It was hand-held, and I believe the exposure was something like 1/10 second. It was long enough that a lot of the shots came out a little blurry.
