Schoen Place on hunters' moon eve

Development at Schoen Place has dug out the stands of trees and paved the area surrounding the silos.

Posted at PhotoWeb are similar shots three days earlier, and at Zooomr is one a few minutes later.

bocce at 2 Vine: better luck on Friday, the 13th

Last of the warm summer nights, in black and white: a highlight from Summer Nights

Upon first opening as one of the first destination restaurants in the East End, 2 Vine became the place to see and be seen. Outdoors though, you could just play bocce or relax and watch others play. In autumn 2006, development and expansion in the East End gave reason to tear out the court and the adjacent house, seen here on the right.
