Judas's Ear, Auricularia auricula-judae

Judas's Ear, Auricularia auricula-judae by john stanbridge.
I found these specimins growing on a piece of dead elder in Quarry Moor LNR on the outskirts of Ripon, Yorkshire. Not as sharp as I would like but nonetheless makes a nice contrast with the ivy. Other names: Jelly ear fungus.
