Pimped out Movable Type

klassic kottke yellowish green
some custom icons (the web, now with color!)
not a huge fan of the mt blue, so changed it to black (like my soul)
Pimped out Movable Type by jkottke.
Took a few minutes this weekend to pimp out my copy of Movable Type (after finally upgrading from 2.6). Just a few changes to the stylesheet and icons, but it feels so much more like *my* copy of MT, not just any old copy of MT.

wow. very impressed. i've often thought about doing something similar myself, now that you've thrown down the gauntlet, i guess it's time to do something about it. those icons make all the difference.

How about a weblog entry on just how to pimp out MT? Also, is that what we can expect Kottke.org to look like soon?

Ever since I copied over my old stylesheets from my live online mt powered site and pasted them over my new stylesheets on my test localhost mt powered site I've done a similar thing. My localhost site has a modified stylesheet to include bright red and I've altered all the images to have TEST written in big red letters on them
