Shot Info: Cannon 400d, 55mm, 200 ISO, 1/125th sec @ f5.6.
Processing : Edited in Lightroom to bring out the top thingy a little more. End result was some blown highlights, so I used the recovery slider a little bit. Boosted saturation to the greens and purple/magentas slightly. In photoshop I added a levels and curves layer to try and improve things a little bit more. Added a usm with high amount and low radius for general sharpening and a usm with low amount and high radius for local contrast boost.
This image was taken in my backyard in Jefferson City MO. It's actually a vine that we planted along our chain link fence. . . and it's growing nicely so far. Im not too sure what that thing on top is, but I thought it looked cool so I took a few shots of it and this, I think, is the best one. Hopefully the blown highlights on the flowers aren't too distracting.
This has been a tough year for me photography wise. I have been struggling to come up with creative ideas. Hopefully next year I can hit it hard again. Sorry for neglecting all of my flickr friends, I will be back to catchup soon.
