I was running errands yesterday morning and saw the tree being put up in Portland's living room.

I can't wait - right after we get home from visiting family for Thanksgiving, I have already forewarned my partner, the_dean, that I'm pulling out the Christmas stuff and decorating. Christmas is big in my family and I intend to soak up as much of it as I can, especially since I will be spending the holidays away from my family for the first time in my life (they're all on the East Coast).
