Basalt Columns of Staffa, Scotland

    Newer Older

Staffa is the island of volcanic basalt columns on the west coast of the Isle of Mull, made famous by Fingal's Cave. From atop the island I could look down on the waves washing over the columns, and with a long exposure record their blurred action. Staff is one of the most primal of island in the Hebrides.
