Staffa is the island of volcanic basalt columns on the west coast of
the Isle of Mull, made famous by Fingal's Cave. From atop the island
I could look down on the waves washing over the columns, and with a
long exposure record their blurred action. Staff is one of the most
primal of island in the Hebrides.
