Lately, I've been obsessed with a little stretch of coast on Highway 1 spanning from Laguna Creek up to Panther Beach between Santa Cruz and Davenport. In fact, five of the last six seascape shots I've posted have been from two of the beaches in this stretch.
My lunch breaks, although always late in the afternoon, no longer coincide with sunset. I am waiting patiently for daylight savings time to spring forward and have sunsets be after work!
This is my first semi-serious attempt at a panoramic, as I actually spent setting up. I do not have any special gear other than a nice tripod with a ballhead with panning base. I leveled the tripod and leveled the ballhead clamp and shot in vertical format and is comprised of seven images stitched together.
I want to go back here for sunrise or sunset and try it again. Until then, I have this as a reminder of my obsession. And Aaron, the weather says rain, but the windows certainly are nice!
