Haley |
We had been trapping ferals cats around
our neighborhood as part of an ongoing
TNR project. Haley showed up in a trap
in front of our house, thin as a reed
and sporting a big abscess. We had never
seen her before, so we don't know much
about her history. She went to the Empty
Cages Collective space to recuperate
where she was treated for her ills. She
recovered quickly and tested negative
for FIV/Felv.
Once she had started to recover, Haley
came to our house to be fostered. She
continues to put on weight and is almost
where she should be for a young (about 1
year) female cat. She's now been spayed
an vaccinated and is ready to find her
home.
Haley is playful and energetic but she
can also be shy. She loves to trill and
meow and appears to favor dry food over
canned, which is pretty rare. Now that's
she's healthy she gets to relive the
kittenhood she never had out on the
streets. She loves catnip and chasing
string toys.
If you're interested please contact us
for an adoption application. Haley's
adoption will be handled by Empty Cages
Collective and is subject to thier final
judgment. Her adoption fee will go
directly to ECC. Haley's had a hard life
so far, please help make the rest of her
life nothing but good times!
