   sightm - I'll tell you who: me.

   And I'll even tell you why:

   I have made my images available to anyone who has asked for them, free of charge, PROVIDED they describe to me with context for which they intend to use them. If I just allow anyone to download and use anything without any understanding of their intentions I'm opening their usage to people whose viewpoints I may not support or agree with. I am very generous with my photos but I don't want them co-opted.

   As far as your sarcastic comment about this being a "really good way to spread information freely around the web" my OWS images (approx. 1,000 so far BTW) have been used worldwide, far and wide. They've been blogged, linked, added to Tumblrs & Facebook pages as well as published in newsletters, magazines and newspapers. Folks with even the slightest technical knowledge don't have any difficulty figuring out how to harness their power... some have even (gasp) engaged me in a conversation regarding their use - successfully, I might add.

   So now I have a question for you: what have YOU done to further this message? Other than creating a flickr account this month with no profile info., no images, no favorites and writing one Troll message?

   I would recommend that you take your misguided advice and apply it to yourself and your own work ethic. As for me, well, I'll be out there shooting and showing the world what's going down, same as I have been from Day One.

   really great photos of everything going on in liberty square and on the marches. i will be keeping up with your photos and hopefully making my way to OWS to get some of my own and join the protests

    The are accomplishing a ton through the various branches of the Occupy Movement...the latest is Occupy the NRA...also there is Occupy Our Homes which have successfully prevented foreclosures.

    If you only pay attention to the lamestream media, then you won't know these things...

    BTW, this sign was the most articulate of all...that you cannot appreciate its irony and humor shows you lack discernment.
