yes, i immediately noticed the double yellowing here that i have in my ostrich photo. it is expired spectra and it happened in only one other photo and not the whole pack which i find extremely interesting.
now what would be really interesting is if my ostrich turned up in your lighthouse photo.:)

no way! I lived on Concord St from 95 til I moved to NYC a couple years ago. I lived in the skinniest house on the street, next to the Christian Science reading room, and then another house down the street. I only worked at the diner for a summer, but I go there every time I visit.
On Grove..if you're talking about the place that's perpendicular to the street, closer to downtown, same side as the river...I had a friend in middle school who lived there. Small world, eh?

Since its a local icon and since I have not seen it in about 12 years and live so very far away and since your film is expired this image succeeds in capturing my memory perfectly.

It's places like these that remind me California isn't so bad, and that it actually is beautiful. After living in the suburbs for a while you just get tired of it. But this, this is mighty fine. I hope to visit! Congrats on winning, it is well deserved.

Jim, I would like to say again how amazing this photograph is. I posted a comment in here 12 months ago saying how I'd love to visit Mendocino... and I finally went two weeks ago! It's absolutely beautiful! I love this Polaroid so much.
