BTW, I found this via the Digital Photography School article. Excellent article. I've used Photoshop (Windows) but ran into problems with stitching more than 20 photos together - out of memory when trying to blend them. I've started using autostitch and find it works really well. Though I did find an issue with stitching multiple rows. Autostitch seemed to compress the height where Photoshop didn't.

@richpt glad you enjoyed the article. One trick I had to resort to when putting panoramics together in Photoshop that were beyond my machines capabilities was to save out smaller versions of each image (unedited). This worked out well for web display and it kept my machine humming rather than choking on processing a large file.

@Jimgoldstein: I had to do the same thing to get Photoshop to process that many images. As you said, works fine for the web. But with Autostitch, I don't have to do anything, just load all the images and let it go. It does a surprisingly awesome job for free software!

jim: i think you turned off the "all size" stuff because you link says "Oops! You don't have permission to view this page." Of course you can still see it, it's your photo, but the other flickr members cannot watch it in large size glory.
