filleting the pollackAgghh, what are you doing to me.....get off....ouch! It was pretty dead at this point ![]() my dad has fished since he was a small boy, he is a very traditional fisherman, Just a rod, line and the basics. He has some rods that he has made himself, and he also makes his own floats. I can remember as a kid sitting in the kitchen with him putting loaf after loaf of stale bread through the hand turned breadcrumb machine to make his bait then boxing it up and putting it in the fridge in the garage with his maggots and other weird paraphernalia. I used to fish with him too as a kid, but then when I hit my teens I found it a bit boring, girls and booze were more exciting.

Now in my 30's I have started doing more long distance running I can see similarities , what I do isn't that much different really. Just time alone, by yourself to sort things through. By the way we had that fish for dinner that night, it was delicious, freshly caught from the cornish coast, you can't beat food like that. CommentsAndy(Shotage)

Girls and booze are still more exciting :-)
Hey -- I saw a guy on Rangefinder listing his MINT 7II and 80mm lens for 1495 -- I was thinking about picking it up... especially after seeing this fine photo of your pop...
