20061205 - December Moonlove how u can see the depth of this crater
![]() The obligatory full moon shot of any collection of sky photographs. Shot this one with the 200-400 VR Zoom mounted on a Wimberley WH-200 gimbal head on a Gitzo 1325 tripod. See EXIF for shot details, Flickr link is More properties in the Additional Information section.

Anyone, out there that is having trouble getting the moon; keep getting a big blurry orb (yes, me too until I learned the trick). Shoot it at 1/250 sec f/11 in MANUAL mode. That should do the trick, a little post processing for contrast, color/gray balance and of course sharpening and then you'll have the shot you want.
