    Rules for teachers 1915

Taken at the Motat museum in Auckland. This was part of a display in an old school house.

Things have changed for us teachers in the last 100 years. I am a teacher and I think I might fail on all of these rules.

GODa - I know it is a bit blurry. It was taken while in a glass display cabinet. I posted it so that people could read the draconian "rules for teachers". They made me laugh.

These kinds of rules are what made our country great.
in 1915, People didnt question authority or the rules that were put down by people in authority.
It goes to show how far this Country has come in the last 100 years.

Wow, glad I wasn't a teacher then. I more than think I would fail on those rules, I KNOW I would fail :-/

Me too. I find it particularly interesting as I am a teacher.
