NOT A WAR FOR OIL

Many claim that the war and subsequent occupation of Iraq aimed at controlling the supply of oil. While this was certainly one of the most relevant reasons, the underlying and according to me the most worrying one was the need to send a signal to the world: "We are the sole superpower and we can do whatever we want" In short, imperialism was the driving force behind this illegal war.
What is left of the masses that opposed the war? where are those that claimed in the streets: "Not in our names"?
