Case in two parts. There have been complaints about how fragile the top part is. Since the case fits on quite tightly, it is hard to pull the top piece off without putting a lot of pressure on the fragile side of the top piece (the side with cutouts for the vibrate mode switch and volume rocker). Probably the best way to pull the top part off the case is to hold it at the very top where the piece is most substantial, above the hole for the volume rocker, and try to hold it with the minimum amount of pressure you can manage.

It is awkward, but I'm not sure how else the case could be engineered to make it more sturdy, perhaps reinforce the fragile side with a metal skeleton or something? The thing is, the case tapers at the top to make it a little thinner beyond where the battery lies. So maybe they should just make the top piece the same thickness as the rest of the case so that it is more robust.
