i love your rome shots. all very good. i spent 2 years there studying the influence of antiquities in baroque art. i remember being surprised to learn the extent to which people (even popes like Nicholas V) plundered materials from the colosseo. but it's not like the Colosseo was a nice place for Christians in its heyday--quite the opposite in fact.
