Today I went to Andy's mom's house to say goodbye to his sister and her husband since they're going back to North Carolina today. I also played dinosaurs with his 3 year old niece, Hannah. When I saw her she said, "Where's Andy? I love him. He's my uncle."

When I asked her how old Andy was, she said, "14?" I said, "No, he's 21!" After asking her a few more times, she caught on. She still thinks I'm 14 though.

Since then, I've been laying in bed on my final recovering day of being ill. Every single time I get up from bed, my head feels heavy and I cough and sniff. It's only when I'm laying down that I feel fine.

I'm already not enjoying this project. I just hate self portraits, I guess. I'm tired of my camera and my lenses. I really have to save up for new equipment. And I just haven't felt the desire to take decent photos lately. Hopefully that will change, I'm still going to try to stick to this project. The whole point is to make me a better photographer and learn more about myself.

It's official. I have started the new year with a cold. My nose was so stuffy last night, I seriously thought I would suffocate during my sleep.

Luckily, I already have today off.

Hopefully no body will think I'm flakey for canceling any plans.

As for a self critique, I wish I had placed the bottle of medicine on the other side of the place mat. I'm too lazy and ill to fix that.

Today I am attempting to start a 365 day project and I already have low expectations for myself. Luckily I haven't set many restrictions. I told myself I'd just have to create/post something everyday and write a sentence or two about that day.

Today, I kissed Andy at midnight and said goodbye to him at the airport at 4 in the morning. He left for Washington and will be back next week.

Today, I woke up with a sore throat and a stuffy nose and I ate spaghetti for breakfast.

I'd prefer to take more "artsy" photos for this project but if there's ever a day like today when my camera battery is dead, I feel sick to my stomach and
I have to work all night, I think I'll excuse myself for a lazy photobooth picture here and there.
