Saw this in Tlaquepaque, its a luck bird.
They train the birds to pick cards from a decks, this little cards have saying about the person luck in love, life, money, and other things.
In exchange for it, the bird gets a bit of food. And the owner some money,
I do wonder, why the bird does not fly away, is it really all that trainned or used to live like that that he does no want to fly away, or is it like with parrots, that they cuts the tips of some feathers so they no longer able to fly???
Anyway, its an interesting thing to see.

El avecita de la suerte
Vi a este amiguito en Tlaquepaque, es un ave de la suerte.
Son pajaritos entrenados para elegir cartitas de un cajoncito, las cartitas pues traen asi como sentencias de suerte en cuanto a amor, vida, dinero y muchas otras cosas.
Acambio de el trabajo de sacarlas el pajarito obtiene algo de comida. Y bueno el dueño dinero.
Lo que si me pregunto es por que el pajarito no vuela, sera que esta tan bien entrenaod o acostumbrado vivir asi que no quiere volar, o sera como on los periquitos a los que les cortan las puntas de las plumas para que ya no puedan volar???
De todas maneras, es algo interesante por ver.
