These small guys are for the tinyshop show at double punch gallery in SF, curated by Antoinette Celes (tinyshop.blogspot.com/). She says the show "celebrates the preciousness of 'mini' --- the shortest distance between 2 points, the space of minutiae, and creative endeavors on a small scale." We were encouraged to create small items; these guys are about 6 inches tall. I loved working in a smaller scale, I think I might do more tinythings.
The show opens on November 17 and runs through January 6 - unfortunately, I won't be able to make it to the opening due to a work commitment. But go!
Edited to add: Antoinette just told me that the show now opens on the 21st, with the grand opening on the 24th. So I will be there.
