Moku 'Ola

Aka "Coconut Island" sits just across a bridge from Liliuokalani Park in Hilo. It's a lovely place to picnic or kayak, and when the weather is willing, there is a fabulous view of Mauna Kea rising above the lights of old Hilo town across the bay.

There is a great diving tower, and last time we were there we saw a monk seal playing in the water.
