We tried some strange poses in combination with the sun as backlight and my fisheye lens.
This is something we came up with. Here the >previous two shots<

For promotional purpose, Alessandro Diga asked me to shoot some photos.
He is an upcoming music producer. You can listen to his music here if you are interested.

Strobist info:
SB-600 shoot-through umbrella, behind+above camera.
The sun as backlight.

North of Netherlands, 21-08-2010

So the little girl which I shot already a few times, has a younger brother now! Time for a little photo session up North.

Both were so cute. But getting attention from both of them on the same time wasn't easy. So I actually have more individual photos of my niece and cousin. haha

Strobist info:
I used one SB-600 shoot through umbrella (camera slightly right, above) for this shot.

Graanveld 24-08-2010

Last Tuesday I had arranged a photoshoot with her. She brought a friend and we headed out to the corn and wheat fields. I checked the weather online for the best time, because we wanted a bit of sun. But it didn't turn out to be the best shooting weather. The wind was blowing hard. Just after this shot my umbrella broke one of his legs :(
And because of the wind, large clouds kept floating in front of the sun, giving us only small sun opportunities. I am glad her friend could help me with holding the light, else it would have been even worse, haha.

SB-600 shoot-through umbrella camera left
SB-600 bare, behind the fence on the right (model left)
The sun gave it that extra shadow touch from the fence. (low rightcorner)

I know I haven't been updating my page a lot lately. Just busy with other things. But I will try to visit your streams any time soon my friends! :)

In the wind 24-08-2010

I am just mesmerized by this shot. This actually is the only shot I took at that spot, as a sort of testshot. But because the enormous wind, kept blowing her skirt up, we decided to take some cover in the cornfield. I am so pleased that I tried a shot, but we probably could have got a lot more out of this location.
I used available light only

Posted previously of her.
