If you can come up with a better title I'm all ears.
Matt backflips off the top deck of the houseboat, which we turned around so he'd be jumping into the sun. Shot with the Tokina 11-16, which flares beautifully.
A lot of people have wondered how I got a fairly even exposure on Matt while shooting into the sun. Coupla' things: I exposed for him and not the sky. There's still plenty of detail to be brought back, and you can do more with an overexposed RAW image than one that's too dark. Secondly, I got a bit of a leg up from all the light that was reflecting off the water and the front of our houseboat (from where I was shooting). There was no flash.
