You Take My Breath Away

I shot a wedding today for a friend's daughter. It was a small ceremony in a local church. It was a beautifully decorated and well attended by family and friends.

After all the required family group shots, I took the couple outside in the cold for some couple photos. We didn't have too long because the cold, but they braved the outdoors long enough to get some good captures.

One of the most poignant moments was when my friend, the bride's father, talked to me afterward. He said, it really didn't all hit him until the moment he walked in with his daughter to give her away. That's when it hit him and he choked up.

Beautiful, emotional day.
